| There is a requirement of a Government Hospital for the treatment of patients in Ayurvedic Medicinal methods at a time the people are very much interested through out the world. Also it is a necessity to provide facilities for the foreigners who come to Sri Lanka to take Ayurvedic treatments. | ||||
Accordingly the government has decided to develop the Ayurvrdic Hospital to a better standards with all facilities. In this regard the Government is expecting to spend Rs. 1204.1 million for the construction work.
Stage - 01 The out door patients section carried out at the old building will be constructed spaciously with modern facilities. |

Stage - 02 Demolishing and removing the old buildings and wards and reconstruction of them with the improvement of pipe lines, roads and infrastructure.
